- December 18th, 2009: The website of the GOLDEN HELIX Symposia undergoes a major refurbishment and is available from early January 2010.
- November 10th, 2009: The GOLDEN HELIX Symposia proudly announces the co-organization of the 1st Latin American Pharmacogenomics Conference in concert with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the non-profit entity INDUNIV. The conference will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico in May 12-14th, 2010.
- October 18th, 2009: The International Scientific Advisory Council of the GOLDEN HELIX Symposia decided that the 2010 GOLDEN HELIX Symposium will be held in Athens and will focus on the topic of Genetic Analysis in Translational medicine.
- October 17th, 2009: Dr. Norman Delanty and Dr. Ron van Schaik has joined the International Scientific Advisory Council of the GOLDEN HELIX Symposia.
- July 30th, 2009: The 2009 GOLDEN HELIX Symposium Pharmacogenomics: Paving the path to personalized medicine has been endorsed by the University of Chicago School of Medicine.
- July 20th, 2009: The 2009 GOLDEN HELIX Symposium Pharmacogenomics: Paving the path to personalized medicine has been endorsed by the Hellenic Drug Association and the Hellenic Anticancer Society
- June 11th, 2009: The GOLDEN HELIX Symposia logo has obtained a registration mark for international use.
- May 30th, 2009: GOLDEN HELIX Symposia has sponsored the 10th International Symposium on Mutations in the Genome, organized by the Human Genome Variation Society. The booth of the Golden Helix Symposia has been visited by many participants who expressed their interest to attend this year’s GOLDEN HELIX Symposium on Pharmacogenomics in Athens
- May 20th, 2009: The University of Patras (Greece) decided to sponsor the GOLDEN HELIX Symposium “Pharmacogenomics: Paving the path to personalized medicine”. The GOLDEN HELIX Institute Board of Trustees wishes to thank the University of Patras for their support.
- April 2nd, 2009: The GOLDEN HELIX Symposia Scientific Advisory Council decided that the GOLDEN HELIX Symposium on Pharmacogenomics will be held in October 15th-17th, 2009 in Athens, Greece.
- February 28th, 2009: The meeting report of the 1st GOLDEN HELIX Symposium “Copy Number Variation and genomic alterations in health and disease” was published in the prestigious journal Genome Medicine in the February 2009 issue.
