- December 1st, 2010: The Golden Helix Symposium “Genetic Analysis in Translational Medicine” has taken place in Athens.
- November 10th, 2010: The 2010 Golden Helix Symposium “Genetic Analysis in Translational Medicine” has been placed under the auspices of His Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic Dr. Karolos Papoulias.
- October 20th, 2010: The deadline for early-bird registration for the upcoming 2010 Golden Helix Symposium “Genetic analysis in Translational Medicine” has been extended to November 15th, 2010.
- September 18th, 2010: The Golden Helix Institute of Biomedical Research is named Regional Center of the Pharmacogenomics for Every Nation Initiative for Eastern Europe. The Golden Helix Institute of Biomedical Research will coordinate the sample collecton to determine the allele frequencies of pharmacogenomic markers in Eastern European countries.
- August 15th, 2010: The FINDbase-PGx, a database to document pharmacogenomics markers in various populations globally was launched today at the Golden Helix Server. This project was co-funded by the Golden Helix and was realized in conjunction with the University of Patras, Greece.
- August 1st, 2010: The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Golden Helix Institute of BIomedical Research (www.goldenhelix.org) and the Pharmacogenomics for Every Nation Initiative (PGENI; www.pgeni.org) was signed today.
- July 20th, 2010: The Golden Helix Institute of BIomedical Research (www.goldenhelix.org) and the Pharmacogenomics for Every Nation Initiative (PGENI; www.pgeni.org) went into an agreement to closely collaborate to determine the incidence of pharmacogenomic markers in several European populations from developing countries.
- June 1st, 2010: Registration of the 2010 Golden Helix Symposium “Genetic Analysis in Translational Medicine” is now open.
- May 12th-14th, 2010: The 1st Latin American Pharmacogenomics conference is held in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Golden Helix Symposia co-organized this event in conjunction with FDA and INDUNIV.
- February 8th, 2010: The meeting report of the 2009 GOLDEN HELIX Symposium “Pharmacogenomics: Paving the path to personalized medicine” was published in the prestigious journal Pharmacogenomics in the February 2010 issue.
- February 1st, 2010: The refurbished website of the GOLDEN HELIX Symposia is available as of today with a completely revamped registration form.
- January 10th, 2010: The 2010 Golden Helix Symposium “Genetic Analysis in Translational Medicine” is announced. It will be held in the DIVANI Acropolis Palace hotel, Athens, Greece, Athens, 1st-4th, 2010.
