The Golden Helix Foundation has been involved in the co-organization of scientific conferences in the field of pharmacogenomics, genome medicine with other scientific organizations.
In 2010, the Golden Helix Foundation organized in conjunction with the US Food and Drug Administration the 1st Latin American Pharmacogenomics Conference in San Juan, PR, USA, May 10-14, 2010. Information about this meeting can be found here.
The Golden Helix Foundation also participated in the co-organization of the 2nd Latin American Pharmacogenomics Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on June 28-29, 2012. Information about this meeting can be found here.
Also, in 2011, a conference on Genetics and Society was organized by the Golden Helix Foundation in Athens, Greece, 4-6 November 2011 to increase awareness of the general public over various issues pertaining to genetics and their application to modern medical practice. Supporting the organization of other conferences
The Golden Helix Foundation has actively supported the organization of international scientific events, such as the Human Genome Variation Society International Symposium on mutations in the genome in Paphos, Cyprus (2009) and the World Pharmacogenomics Summit in Boston, MA, USA (2011).
