Vassilis Fragoulakis

Dr. Vassilis Fragoulakis is an expert in pharmaceutical market policy and economics. His last three positions prior to joining The Golden Helix Foundation as a Senior Scientific Analyst, was research Fellow in the National School of Public Health (NSPH) in the Department of Organization and Management, research Associate at the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE), sponsored by the Hellenic Pharmaceutical Company Association (SFEE) and Special Advisor of the Governor of the Largest Sickness Fund (IKA) in Greece with five million insurees and 20,000 personnel. He has co-authored, among others, (as first author) 1 book in health economics and genomic medicine published by the Elsevier Academic Press, (33) peer reviewed articles published in international journals. He is a reviewer in (5) international journal. He has been lecturing biostatistics, management science, computers, finance and health economics in Athens (University of Athens), Patras (University of Patras) and Cyprus (Open University of Cyprus and Frederick University). Vasilis holds a B.Sc and  M.Sc in Economics and a PhD in Health Economics from the University of Athens University with scholarship and distinction. His research interests are in the fields of health technology assessment and Public Health.
